- Style: find -- or retain -- your unique voice:: work with dialog to enhance readability and pacing; other special techniques to help you enrich your writing
- How to organize your stories: tools to help you figure out how to structure your book
- Avoid "Detail Derail" ™: learn how to know how much is enough, how much too much to include; how not to get bogged down or sidetracked by wisps of other memories that inevitably come up, but might slow down, or worse, turn off the reader
- Line editing:insuring your stories are written in proper grammar, and spelled correctly
- Content editing: avoiding repetition, establishing story lines, whether for individual stand-alone tales or a "through line" taking the reader from start to finish (this can include flashbacks and other time-shifting techniques)
